Jungle Bungle by LG
After morning tea we went to a show peformed by Lavinia who played Claire and Kevin who played Oliver. In this story Oliver was nervous at his new school and Claire was his best friend. That afternoon Claire went to Oliver's house. They played adventures in the jungle but they weren't playing it they were actually in the jungle. They made a safari train so some people went walking in the jungle. When they were out of the jungle Claire had to go home because she was supposed to be home by 4 o'clock. They did a secret handshake and said to each other "see you at school tomorrow." I think that this story was cool because it had funny parts and silly parts. My favourite part of it, was when they had the safari train and when they went looking for Claire. Claire was funny beause she was scared and got angry at Oliver. Oliver was funny too because he had a compass that didn't work but he thought it did.

The Flood
On Tuesday 1 June it rained so hard we thought our school was going to flood. We rushed outside and took some photos.
We then decided to write a short story about our school flooding.
We decided to use Voice Thread to share our stories and photos because Mrs H has seen Voice Thread used before.
This is the first time that we have used Voice Thread but it will not be the last.
Next time we are aiming to be more fluent when we read our stories.
